The Computer Science department is made up of faculty with a range of research interests and a dedication to teaching undergraduates. We have developed a broad and complete curriculum that covers the "big ideas" of computer science from hardware to software and from application to theory. Our goal is not to teach students how to use current computer applications, but rather to educate them so that they understand how these applications work and can design and build the computer applications of the future.

V.V's Mathematics Department consists of 10 faculty members with a broad range of research interests in pure and applied mathematics. For all our students, we offer personal attention in advising and in small classes. Our mathematics majors, which number 15-20 per academic year, benefit from a well-developed curriculum that is both rigorous and inclusive. They have been highly successful securing positions in research, finance and education
Geography

In this programme, we aim to provide a strong foundation in all fields of geography with a human centric perspective. It provides a broad spectrum of modern trends in geography and tries to develop academic, experimental and application skills of students. The syllabi have been so framed that it bridges the gap between the plus two and post graduate levels of learning geography by providing a systematic and comprehensive framework in almost all areas of the subject. The Programme also aims to produce graduates of the caliber sought by industries and public service and to equip the students in gathering and analyzing spatial information and to suggest solutions to geographical problems. The faculty of the department are well qualified and dedicated. We also have an equipped lab with survey instruments, weather instruments and computer systems with mapping software.

A degree in Commerce provides basic training to students in all major subjects, such as Finance, Marketing, Human Resource, Entrepreneurship and Accounting Practices along with training in computer and soft skills.
